A come back

Posted by Abah & Ibu

It has been two years from the last post. We are four of us now. Nawal has a very active brother who she tortured a lot. I never thought this kind of live 10 years back. I was just finished my study that time. The only thing I was thinking of was just to find a job and paid my PTPTN loan. Now I am settling down in a family life...a husband, a daughter and a son...living in own house and doing my dream job. What else to expect in life? Thank God for blessing us. I think I am craving for an ice cream cake. Abah didn't go out to the shop. Ibu is short with two ingredient; eggs & whipping cream. Ibu is thinking of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Doesn't, it sound so delicious? But, don't get me wrong. I am not pregnant. :)

I know this post should be on the NEW home...but not all plan can be executed. Above that is a history that Abah & Ibu will remember for entire of our life. It is not our anniversary...but a day that we never thought will drop by in our life.

We moved in on April 24th and it's not even 2 months yet. There are a couple of boxes left to be unpacked AND valuable things can just be found on unsafe place such as dinning table. As most of the working days, Ibu and Nawal arrived first. When we were approaching the house, Ibu notice that our padlock is not there. Abah supposingly not home yet since his bike not at the parking bay. Ibu open the grill and saw the door is not close so tight (remember in the morning already had everything closed and locked). Ibu gently pushed the door and the view is NOT NICE. It is not the way I left it. The bookshelves drawers all on the floor. Nawal's books also scattered. Closed back the door and grill and called Abah.

"Where are you?"
"At the shop buying dinner"
"Our house was broke in"
"Are you sure?"
"Everything in the mess. I dare not get into the house"
"Ok, I'm coming back now"
"I'll wait downstairs"

Ibu drag Nawal back to the elevator and went down. Saw 2 guards on patrol, wave at them and tell them that our house was broken in. They go up and checked while both of us wait down there. Nawal a little bit confuse as why we still have to be down. Both of them came down again and said that there was no broke in. I was puzzled a while, but still insist that the house is not the way I left it. Ibu, Nawal and one of the guard go up again, we enter the house and I show the guard all the clothes are out of wardrobe already.

Then, the story become long enough for me to tell in details. Police report...bla bla..police came...CSI came...

List of items gone:
- Abah' new handphone, new watch, enggagement/wedding ring, laptop, car key
- Ibu's gold braclet, pasar mlm rayban, spoilt handbag, digital camera
- Nawal's gold anklet
- 2@3 hundrred cash and 6 hundred coins

Total lost in term of value, 80% under Abah. He even need to change his car key and alarm system. Which cost us until now as the changes spoilt his car wiring and make the battery drained regularly. That is the physical one...but the one of most valuable thing is the photos in Abah's laptop; Nawal's 2nd birthday party.

The impact:
- We have to take leave to tidy up the mess and buying new expensive padlock
- We spend almost another 2K to change the door, adding keys and padlock, changing Abah's car key and alarm
- We need 5 keys to enter our house instead of 2
- Ibu don't feel like buying gold anymore
- Ibu feel not secured in own house anymore

Finally...I did it

After quite sometime the new template live online...finally manage to solve the date issue. Thanks a million to Claudia for giving the solution. I was so sad..thinking that I might need to let go this template. I love it so much. Always love the classic type :)

Since everything is ok already...it's time to continue blogging @ our new home. Next post and the post after that will be ALL about the OUR NEW HOME. :)

The weekend

Ibu is so tired without Abah. Not even a week, Nawal start looking for Abah already. She has blocked nose and cough( get it from me ). Today went o Jusco, but she don't want to walk. Have to carry her all the way through except the escalator. She loves so much using it. So many people, long queue, just only to buy a bottle brush.

In the evening we went to the playground, she so happy. That's all I need, to see my daughter smile.
